Job description:
We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to design and operate the Builder's entry point / Internal Developer Portal (IDP), driving technical direction and best practices across the platform.
Feel free to work remotely from anywhere across Latvia or connect with colleagues at our Riga office.
Lead the design, build, and maintenance of the Internal Developer Portal using Port.io
Develop backend automation and integrations using Python and Terraform
Design and manage GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines
Integrate developer tools (SCM, CI, security, artifact management) into platform workflows
Implement API-driven onboarding and orchestration of external agent capabilities
Manage AWS infrastructure, IAM policies, and platform security
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams on platform standards and adoption
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps
At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
Hands-on proficiency in Python and Terraform in production environments
Expertise in AWS infrastructure design, IAM policy management, and AWS Networking and Content Delivery
Skills in GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
Capability to integrate developer tools into platform workflows
Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
Familiarity with Port.io or Internal Developer Portal experience
Knowledge of software cataloging
Understanding of golden paths
Background in developer self-service patterns
