Job description:
Here at QUADIGI we provide software development and testing services for safety and medical devices. In particular we specialize in application and embedded software development for lung ventilation, anesthesia, breathalyzers, gas detectors and other similar devices used by emergency services as well as industrial workers all over the world.
Join our Platform Team, a core part of the Medical Division, where innovation directly impacts patient care and healthcare technology. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of foundational software components. Your primary responsibility will be the design and implementation of the Board Support Package (BSP)—a critical layer enabling hardware and software integration.
You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, contributing to high-impact medical devices and solutions that matter.
In this role, you will be responsible for the specification, development, testing, and documentation of low-level software components—including device drivers, bootloaders, and other hardware-related modules.
You will also support the integration of these components into a production-ready Board Support Package (BSP), enabling seamless interaction between hardware and higher-level software layers.
Requirements:
Proficiency in use of C, U-Boot within the ecosystem of embedded operating systems like Linux or VxWorks.
Basic understanding of how WIFI and Ethernet stacks work.
Experience with common build systems (CMake) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins - nice), Git
Familiarity with test frameworks such as Google Test or CppUnit.
Proficiency with compilers GCC, Clang.
Fluency in English both in written and spoken.
Nice to have
Basic knowledge of C++ is a plus.
Knowledge of common scripting languages; ideally, experience with Python is a plus.
Experience with Yocto is a plus.
Familiarity with requirement management (DOORS) is a plus.
Company offers:
Support – You will have a QuaDigi buddy by your side
Flexibility – Flexible working hours, vacation schedule, remote or onsite work
Online and offline training/workshops and other knowledge sharing possibilities
Additional health and personal accident insurance
Snacks and fun activities in the office
Additional time off
Sport budget
Loyalty benefits and perks
Agile, friendly and international environment
